I first met Casey during lockdown and he and I had a conversation on Zoom when I was more open to being able to listen and to look and I saw something extraordinary in this work. Casey captures beauty in a forensic way. He uses beautiful techniques to grab nature from the world around him and make us look at it. Don’t dismiss his work - he is offering us so much depth and his work is singular in that way. It's unparalleled. And yes, it looks beautiful on your walls, but there's a bigger message at play.
